Another Successful Convention! Thank you to all who braved the elements to attend. We had a great crowd, the new hotel was wonderful and the Sunday auction had over 1000 lots! If you missed this year, you should make plans now to attend next year March 25-27, 2011.

The NEC’s Annual Convention is an opportunity to gather knowledge related to our Tropical Fish Hobby, meet that special speaker, mingle with long-time hobbyists and share your experiences with newcomers in the hobby. We offer speakers and activities on all aspects of fishkeeping from Guppies to Reef Keeping. We encourage everyone to expand your knowledge and socialize with the friendly group who return year after year. This is an educational and social weekend open to all and we invite you to come experience the NEC’s Annual Convention!
We have a New Speaker! Chuck Rambo from San Jose, CA will present a program entitled, "The History of Keeping Aquatic Organisms as Pets." Click here to see Chuck and his bio. Chuck is sponsored in part by the American Cichlid Association and ZooMed Laboratories.

Please take a minute to review this year's Sponsors. We ask that when you visit a shop, thank them for supporting the NEC Convention! If you don't tell them you are from the NEC, as well as from your local club, they don't know that their donation paid off for them! Make an effort to support your local fish store as well as all the companies and manufacturers that have donated to the NEC this year. Without their donations, we would not be able to have this great convention!
